Valmistuin vuonna 2009 pukuompelijaksi ja stylistiksi Helsingin palvelualojen oppilaitoksesta, ja olen työskennellyt urani aikana kahdessa helsinkiläisessä ateljee-ompelimossa.
Vuonna 2021 perustin Ompelimo Helsingin, joka toimii nykyään omana ateljeenani – paikkana, jossa jokainen työ tehdään huolella, ammattitaidolla ja asiakkaan toiveita kunnioittaen.
Olen erikoistunut vaatteiden muokkaus- ja korjausompeluun. Työssäni yhdistyvät tekninen osaaminen, istuvuuden ymmärrys ja kunnioitus vaatteen alkuperäistä henkeä kohtaan. Tavoitteeni on, että vaate tuntuu omalta, kestää käyttöä ja palvelee käyttäjäänsä mahdollisimman pitkään.
Ompelimo Helsinki on ateljee, jossa käsityö, kokemus ja huolellinen viimeistely näkyvät.

We live in an era of fast fashion. The life cycle of clothing has dramatically shortened and continues to shorten. Many of the clothes we buy remain unused and one of the main reasons for this is that they don’t fit on our bodies. Ready-made garments are designed with a specific body type in mind. Due to this, they often have slightly too long sleeves or legs, the wrong length of the back or looseness / tightness on the shoulders or waist, for example.
WE SOLVE THESE CHALLENGES BY PROVIDING QUALITY REPAIR AND MODIFICATION TO MAKE YOUR CLOTHES SUITABLE.
We have a long experience in designing and sewing. The reason we love the industry is due to the joy of solving the above-mentioned challenges.
